Wheel deterioration
Hello, I have a 2017 XC60 R and I’ve noticed there is deterioration on one of the rims. The wheel has never hit a curb and the clear coat is still intact. Could I be thinking the alloy is defective?
Any input appreciated. Cheers |

The diamond cut wheels often fitted to r design models are more prone to this - my dad had 3 replaced under warranty on his car. Not sure why, maybe the clear lacquer isn’t as strong as the paint on normal alloys and the diamond cut ones tend to have sharper edges.
