Finally replaced the standard four spoke in my 460 Turbo with a good [ish] MOMO Daytona. Made a huge difference.

And, for a random magazine cover exercise at Uni, I mocked this up:

Anyone have a Palm Beach?

I nearly bought a Palm Beach a little while back, also almost bought a Daytona a month or so ago.

Prob told you when we met actually, I found out that they don't fit cars with airbags, 'cos the columns are different.

Still trying to make my mind up how much I want one...

Hmm...

Seeing your Daytona's not helping!!

Just the standard airbag steering wheel on my 480!

I wish Volvo had produced these with a leather rim, rather than just the plastic, like they did with the original 480 steering wheels.

Agreed, the lack of leather really lets them down.

Feels horrid - jumping in the 480 for a blast (or 460 now - same wheel) after driving the 960 all week!

Hmm... Starting to give serious thought to a daytona wheel again now.

You've got a lot to answer for Jon!!

Steve

Oh, love the mocked up mag cover btw

Managed to get myself a Roma for a not insubstantial amount of coin. I'd like another Daytona as mine is a bit scruffy in places. Will post shots up when I unbox it.

"Holy thread revival, Batman!"

I managed to bag Ray the 460 Turbo a 2 spoke affair in nice condition from a 480 Turbo:

The car itself was in pretty nice condition really, so I nabbed it's front seats too, the cloth on the inner parts matches the rest of the interior, and they hold me in a little better when I get all giddy on the twisties!

I boshed on one of these, as original V70r wheel felt a bit skinny. Wasn't the best of knick when bought, so stripped it and died it black.Gotta whoopsome lacquer on now.
