Default Essex & Suffolk section September 2011 meet.

Just a reminder that we are again forsaking our beloved truckstop and on the 11th September will be at :-

The St Mary's Motor Show.
St Mary’s Catholic School
Windhill,
Bishops Stortford,
CM23 2NQ

The event takes place on the playing fields of St. Marys Catholic School (they are quite large) It starts at 11am to 5pm but exhibitors can arrive from 7am.

A good turnout is what we need - contact David Barker for an exhibitors pass (or PM me).

Thanks to the area organisers who set up this trip, it was an excellent day out, good variety of Volvos and other makes and good company made for a good show. The sun even shined all day too.

Regards to all, Martin

I echo Martin's thanks, it was a brilliant day. Here are a few photos:

Richard Dodd's lovely 340:

Martin's very shiny 240:

My favourite non-Volvo at the show, a very original looking mk IV Cortina, complete with vinyl roof:

Martin and Helen's gorgeous 145:

Beautiful P1800 owned by Shaun (not sure how he spells his name):

Another 240 (afraid I didn't catch the owners' name):

Me and my two 340s:

And a couple of general ones showing the display:

Thanks again to all who turned up and organised, and a special thanks to my friend Oliver (aka beetledrive) who drove my red Vario to the show.

Siôn
