It looks down at heel, but that has the potential to be a nice car. I hope it gets bought and fixed, rather than broken

What causes that 'down at heel ' look normally.

I presume you are describing the raised nose look.
Both my 240's have it but perform OK.
The gap between wheel tops and wheel arch is quite a bit different comparing front and back.

Is it weak rear springs?

Really, I meant the cosmetic stuff like dirty and faded paintwork, cheapo/mismatched wheel-trims, dirty seats. But if you look past all that, and imagine it really cleaned and polished up and it would be a nice car. And 108k is low mileage for a 30 year-old car.

It does look fairly "straight" which makes me think it's had caring owners in the past and has not done a few years as a builders van, as so many old Volvo estates do.

It would be a shame for it to become a banger racer.

It needs someone on here to take it on and get it back into use - so chop chop 240 fans!

John

EDIT: I just checked the listing and realise that the auction is now closed. Did anybody on here buy it?
