1992 240 Estate
Hi All,
I have a 240 estate, 140k miles, going to the scrappy on Thursday morning. If it can be of any use to anyone instead, I'd always rather recycle as a going concern than a bale of crushed metal. Car is fine but back suspension rubbers, exhaust, NSF brake, dented NSF wing, flat OSR tyre. Otherwise, excellent engine, rust free and was a great car. It's in central Bristol. |

Hi Triv, I'm interested, can you tell me is it 2.0 or 2.3 and also manual or auto.
Many thanks, Graham. |

Thanks Triv, I would like to save this car from the scrappie then, I could come over to collect it on Sunday? Presumably I would need to bring a spare wheel.
Graham. |

Hi Graham,
I'm sorry, I'm not around at all this weekend, which is the reason for the car going at 10 AM today. |

Triv, could the car be collected late afternoon/early evening today? It really would be shame to scrap the car?

Triv, can I ask you what was the point of listing the car on this forum when you're not giving anyone a chance to pick it up?

I apologise.
I did give people a chance but not much time. I wasn't given any time either! I was hoping that somone close by might be able to save it. Any chance at all is surely better than none. |
