2002 D5 struggling to Start

------I started a thread back in January regards my 2002 V70 D5 struggling to start. See below
http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showth...4&goto=newpost

then posted update at
http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showth...635#post679635

and was advised to post on this group. (I think)

My car is not used regularly i.e. it may not move for 10 or 12 days at a time. And I have been very lax in getting this fixed. BUT! Now it simply won't start from cold without a squirt of Quick Start direct into the engine side of the air filter pipe. Even a warm engine requires turning over for about 20 seconds or more to restart....
QUESTION... is this now pointing to the in-tank pump? And how likely to simply PACK UP without further notice?

thanks for all replies and suggestions.
This is just to let you know I finally found a garage with the injector test facilities and a fair pricing. They replaced 2 injectors and all's well now.

Thanks again.

P.S watch out for new problem "error codes "

My 01 D5 can`t start. Once started with QuickStart it works perfectly. But without QuickStart it just turns starter there is no firings in cylinders. I have 3 new injectors fitted and that didn`t help. New in-tank fuel pump, new fuel filter, new engine coolant sensor. Diagnostic computer connected thru OBDII shows fuel pressure 35kPa, figure changes with revs if toch a throttle.
What else can be the reason?

Thanks.
