Another update (5.42) on iOS is out. the only new 'feature' I have discovered is 'Active Services' menu showing the extended warranty and connected services. Pretty useless as this information was available already just in a different menu.

I'm on 5.41.0 for Android. The unit selection is there.

So I changed the units as recommended and the mpg went from 84 to 2.4

I recently purchased a B5 Plus with Google and I'm using Volvo Car 5.42.0 app on IOS.

The app doesn't perform as I expected from my Sensus experience.

As others have reported, the m.p.g is haywire, showing 117mpg average consumption.

The Trip Log doesn't report the m.p.g. This was a feature with my previous car using Sensus. Does any one have this feature?

There are no options in App Settings.

I have deleted and restored the app to no effect.

Is there a way to roll back to ver 5.41.0?

I’ve just taken delivery of a 2024 V60 T8. Tried to use the app to send a destination to the car but can’t see how. It was easy with Sensus. What am I doing wrong?
App version 5.42.0
Car s/w 3.1.9

Nothing, you can't send a destination from the Volvo app to an AAOS car.

You have to search for or enter a destination on the Google Maps app on your phone then when you bring up the satnav screen in the car it'll appear as a suggested destination.

I think it's a step backwards.

You can send it from your google maps app to your car.

Thanks, the documentation is very basic, not covering that at all.
Actually I think the 'user manual' which can only be read online is far less comprehensive than the one for my previous (2018) V60
