I think the days of quality are gone. Volvo's of old were built like tanks... this new stuff just isn't. Even a Tesla for example... the materials they use in their cars are like something you'd find in a Toyota Aygo. No offence to the Aygo, but at least you can expect it of a vehicle of that price bracket. At least its being true to itself.

I think its appalling for premium brands to be fitting cheap materials and asking the guts of 100k for the pleasure. Same applies to Tesla. They aren't cheap to buy either, but you'd find better quality plastic on your wheelie bin.

Yes as mentioned there was an event on last Sunday organised via the Facebook group torque volvo with volvo owners club and Volvo uk. Was a really good event and I think it’s going ahead again next year well worth the visit! If you join the owners club you get notice of any events via driver magazine if you like that sort of thing.
