Who refurbs differentials?

If you Google "Classic car Axle Repairs" you should find quite a number of companies that will do older axles.

Which differential is in it ? If it is late enough to have a Dana 30, they are common in the off roading community (Jeeps).

Need to get to the lockup to see what type of axle it has - hopefully a Spicer.

Also spoken to Hardy Engineering in Leatherhead who think they can refurb. They say I can drive the car down and leave it with them which is a lot easier than removing the diff and then having to transport it. Not easy as I am Manchester! The downside is that they are very expensive.

How expensive is expensive? The guy I use is £5-600 labour to rebuild an axle with me supplying all the parts.

A long way from Manchester, but they can recommend reliable couriers...
