Hello,
I've been here for a few months now reading through any Amazon related stuff which I have found really helpful and has helped me make my mind up.
I had decided that an Amazon was the car I wanted and that it had to be an estate as I use a wheelchair and it would be easy to sling it in the back, so I started my search, a year later I found one about 70 miles away, paid the man and trailered it home.

So I now have a 1968 Volvo Amazon estate B18 engine with twin SU and overdrive, perfect!

The car had been off the road for 25 years but the bloke selling it had been doing a lot of work recently getting it up and running and after bringing it home all that was needed for an MOT was a balljoint, numberplate lights and sort the washer bottle out. It was then down to the local DVLA office to sort the free tax out then get some insurance, which was very affordable, and I've been driving it round this weekend lovin' it and thinking this is how motoring should be!

It still needs more work doing on it and some fine tuning done but after having a good look round while it was up on ramps it is very solid and any work that has been done has been done properly. The plan is now to use it as a rolling resto and do bits when funds allow.

So there we go another Amazon hits the road again!
