  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Fuel filter Bleeding tool

Hi
Does anyone know the cost of a volvo diesel bleeding tool ?
I know you can buy/make cheap alternatives but I'm fed up with messing around, also a part No would be handy

As far as I know the Volvo hand priming pump is No:951 2898, but don't have any idea how much they cost.
Bought a Draper vacuum pump on Amazon myself and does the job fine, loads of connections came with it.
Hope this is of some help.

I got something similar from ebay and i've never had a problem getting the car started even after changing the housing & filter, plus it was only about £20.

The haynes manual is quite good in that respect as it tells you both methods volvo and vac pump, vac pump being easier in my opinion, as you're just doing the return line so you suck it through the pump, in theory priming the pump.
