Default 2017 T4 PCV Issue

Hi, currently sat awaiting breakdown after my 2017 V60 T4 petrol started to make a horrible squealing/sucking noise. Noise disappears when the oil filler cap is removed so I'm assuming the PCV is shot... probably split diaphragm?

There's a reasonable amount of suction on the oil cap too so it's pulling a vacuum. Not sure if that's significant?

Question is looking online it looks pretty easy to replace the PCV as it's the built into the top rocker cover? Is it really that simple and is it one part across all the 4 cylinder VEA engines (T4/D4 etc.)? Doesn't seem too expensive either.

Up to this point I had noticed it had started to use a small amount of oil which I'd read may be linked to this too? Being a 2017 engine I believe it should already have the uprated piston rings.

Thanks!
