Default OBD2 Reader

Hello all

This has probably been answered several times, but looking for advise on a really good OBD2 reader.

Not the ones you can get for £20 from ECP or ebay.

I mean a really decent one, maybe £100-£250 mark which can ACTUALLY read codes and reset the codes too

(Wife has a 2014 V40 D3 XC and I have a 2014 V70 D4)

Thanking you all

Having those 2 cars at that age, I would advise you get a laptop that has Vida installed and comes with a Dice Unit.

Some one is selling a setup in the sales section of the forum.

Go for vida/dice on a laptop , as it has far more fault info and reset functions than any generic OBD reader will ever give you . If you have other makes of cars in the family you could also install DELPHI diagnostics software this covers all makes with a lot of functions . I also recommend a separate laptop for diagnostics , so as not to have conflicts with other software .

These are great if you prefer something that doesn't need to be plugged in to a laptop.
