heavy clutch
I just bought a 1994 850 SE 2.0 litre 20-valve with 78800 m on the clock. The clutch is quite heavy when being depressed (has hydraulics) - is this usual for this car? The clutch does not slip nor judder. Volvo says that it is "OK - although a little heavy, but nothing to worry about..." Well, I am concerned that it should not be like this, and feel it could fail at anytime. Can anyone please help? Thank you.

RE: heavy clutch
two courses of action here as the car does indeed have an hydrualic clutch. Flush the brake fluid and the clutch slave too. after this has been done if it is still heavy then the throw out bearing is worn on the clutch. Just as a note i put up with mine for 50k miles before replacing my clutch and throw out bearing.
