850 exhaust note throaty?
I thought I had a dodgy baffle but now I'm just beginning to wonder if the 850 estate has a rather throaty/raspy exhaust note anyway. Any comments? I know its not leaking, but I'd rather not replace the silencer if it will sound the same afterwards.
Thanks! Simon. ---------------------------- 1996 855 2.5 20v cd 1978 Scimitar GTE |

Chill Simon,
I think you will find the 20v engines do have a rather throaty sound to them. If it is really loud and can be heard inside the car even a low speeds or a mild acelaration then maybe the baffles have gone. IceMan |

Yes they are throaty.
Sound great don't they. This is one of the things I love about the 850. Steven Malkin. |
