radio cr902 locked

how could i unlock the cr902, radiodisplay showing 'off', i have the code.
i am finding very conflictuary info on the internet.

You should have been allowed three tries at getting the code in. After the third failed attempt the unit will lock. You will need to wait for 1 to 2 hours before trying again. During this time the unit must remain switched on, which is bad news if your car is kept out on the street. But my recollection of Heerenveen is that it is a nice place so you should be safe enough (I did work on a computer contract at Gbdr Smilde on Industrivej some time ago).

tHE CR 902 has had a lot of e2prom ic failure (the chip which holds the data for the code)
I can repair then unit for you or supply a CR 905 fully refurbished.
