I can't remember if it featured the 240 per ser- but volvos were featured fleetingly in the Dudley moore film "crazy people" where he comes up with the advertising tagline "Volvo- boxy but good"

Well one of my favourite movies Detroit Rock City about a bunch of kids driving to detroit to watch the concert in a stolen late 70's 244 (one of the kids mum's car) though it featured hubcaps from a post 86 car when that movie was supposed to be a period movie from the late 70s - early 80s. Well in the sitcom Scrubs, the two main characters drive a 240 until it burned down one day. In the movie Spy Game the target Brad Pitt and Robert Redford were about to assasinate arrived in a 1984-1986. Heaps of others but am too lazy to type now.

No 240's, but he drives a blue 960 in the movie in addition to coming up with that great tagline. And related - don't foreget about the character Saabs, with the OCD centering on Saab 900's.

Hello. This is not really a tv or film spotting, but in yesterdays paper and outside a cinema, so kind of relevant.

In the "on this day in history" section. Folk queueing up to see Superman at the old ABC cinema in 1977. Right outside the cinema, a 240 estate. A nice capri too.

I saw The Bounty Hunter (save your money, it's not great) at the weekend and there was a tasty red 245 on Hydras in it. Now I really want a set of Hydras...
