Default "scart" cables in spare wheel well

Just noticed two "scart" type looking cables, with little pins in them. They are located in the spare wheel compartment. What the heck are those?

If they are in the spare wheel well I'd be thinking they might be cables for the factory sub-woofer. Have you traced them back to anywhere? If they lead towards the rear left quarter of the car where the amp is then I'd suspect they are for the audio system.

The strut brace is standard with 2.0d. That is a scary lead?!? Is it connected to anything/anywhere?

They don't look like anything that a car maker would put in a car, they look like they have gold terminals.
