CD Player display
Hi, this is a pretty yes/no question.
Can the Volvo CD player displays show the song name? or are they only made to display Track 1, Track 2 and so on? When i listen to MP3's in my Volvo S40 i cant see the song name, and i wish i could because it is actually quite useful. Thanks PS: Its a volvo S40 2.0D 2005. Small CD player display, not the big computer type. Last edited by kkrystianz; Jun 29th, 2009 at 22:57. |

It should be able to I would have thought. Mine's a 2004 with Performance Audio and the track name displays but only for the first 10-15secs of the track and then "Track x".

I tried again to see if it will display the song info, no luck.
Maybe it does on your display because its the performance audio one? this 1 i believe is the basic stereo that Volvo supplies as standard. |

Is the audio system that you are talking about the "performance" one or can any cd player fitted to a volvo play a cd with mp3's on? I seem to recall trying a cd with mp3's on in my 55 plate V50 sport and it didn't want to know.

Sorry, I didn't read your original post properly. I missed the reference to MP3's. I don't know if it should as mine's too old to play MP3's. It's only standard audio CDs for me :.-(
