I think we both mean the same thing, we're talking about the same construction component here.

spandau> As was mentioned, it's phsychological... the same thing applies for high flow air filters (K&N...ect.) as long as you have the default ECU software, just by installing such a filter will NOT give you a 5-8bhp increase as they claim, that's because the MAF sensor will not allow more air than needed to rush in, it will simply issue a command to "close the gate", but this command has it's latency, so dyno the car immediately after installing one and you'll have that extra boost, come back to the dyno a bit later and performance figures will be back to normal.

However, installing such a filter is a MUST after a remap.

Regards.

Just my 2p worth but I am sure there's a slight difference with the strut brace fitted. The handling wasn't bad before it was fitted but I feel it's slightly more taut at the front end with it.

Some may say it's psychological, I feel there is a difference when driving in a 'spirited fashion'. Either way, I feel it's been worth its low cost of addition.

Current price list still lists "Rally Bar (Front Strut Stiffener)" as a standard fit on Rdesign and Rdesign SE models. Not an order option for others though I don't think it ever was.
