Default 144 wiper arms

Hi, I want to remove the trico wiper arms from my 69 144. Do they just prise of the splines or is there a clip holding them?
Also I want to replace the fuel line from the pump to the carbs with a braided one if possible. can you confirm that it's the internal diameter that I should order and what it is. Thanks.

No clip. Bend the arms away from the windscreen to take the pressure off the splines. A little WD 40 or equivalent to the joint between arm and spindle. After 10 mins take the arm off with your hands. Don´t use a screwdriver or such, will only scrape the paintwork....

Cant help you with the fuel line...
