Front Fog Lights
I have had a trawl around and havn't managed to find anything very useful, so i'm asking myself ...
My front fog light don't seem to want to play ball. When I flick the switch on the dash the light in the switch comes on, but there is nothing on the display (as per the lamp that turns on when the rear fogs are on) and no light is coming out of the fog lights. Ive tried it with the light control in all the different positions, with rear fog on, rear fogs off, etc etc as well. I'm guessing by the way the switch lights up that the switch isnt faulty, so does anyone know where the relay for the front fogs is? I have checked the fuse and it appears to be OK. Any thoughts? Car is a 1998 / 1999 V70 2.5T James |

Yeh, i've tried it in all the key positions, and all the combinations of lights, which is why I think it *might* be a relay.
Forgot to add, I have checked the obvious thing as well - "Are they wired up" and yes they are! :P |

Have you checked the bulbs? They aren't monitored by the bulb failure system.

They are on my list of things "to check" a I picked up the voltometer thingy from a friend today to check there is power going round the circuit at the same time.
I would have thought they would have been on the monitoring system which is why I havn't yet checked them! |

Were the front fogs fitted at the factory or retrofitted?

They appear to be factory fitted, and to have hit a pheasant at some point (One is slightly bent, needs a new mounting bolt for the bottom half of the bracket and it'll be fine. No lense damage luckily! )
