Default Service Activated Roadside Assistance (SARA)

Received a letter from my Volvo dealer (Ray Chapman Motors, York) today telling me my XC60 was due a service - it isn't.

However, the deal is: every time I have my car serviced by them I get 12 months' 'Roadside Assistance'. They quote a saving of £85 per year.

No further details but will enquire next time I am there. One thing that springs to mind is that I am on the free servicing deal with one free service left. Will I still get SARA?

My service is due in Feb so no plans to visit the dealer just yet.

Sounds like a good offer but more details needed.

Had my XC90 serviced by the dealer yesterday on the 3 year servicing deal and was informed that I now have SARA :-)
