I bought them from Volvo, this week and they cost just over £7 each - plus vat! If you do manage to get them from an alternative source, the chances are, they won't have the blue cover on them. This is OK, if the blown bulb covers have not degraded - mine had. I think it is best to "bite the Volvo bullet" and get the correct part in the first place. Chances are, you may never need to replace them ever again. Gary |

I've just replaced the ones in the headlamp switch with LED's from Maplins. I bought the extra bright green LED's, pulled the blown bulb element out of the holder, and fed the LED into the orgional holder and re-fitted it.
Make sure you get them the right way round or they won't work, but the whole job took me about 15 minutes, and at 15p per LED, and I bet you any oney the will last longer, I'm quid's in. If I get chance I'll take some photo's of the process and post them up. Rob |

CJ62S - 12v SB Green 5mm LED.
I see they are showing them as 64p on the website, I got them added to a stock order at work and they only charged me 15p (result!), even so, really cheap compared to Volvo bulbs. Rob |

I found the ones from Maplins and they are 60 degrees. I also found some others that were the same but had a 30 degree angle, which means they would be brighter. Are the Maplins ones too bright? If not then I could gamble and try the 30 degree ones. I want the lights to be bright but not too bright to make my car look like a Christmas tree....

I've just replaced the bulbs in the light switch panel and...nothing! It's exactly the same as before, no illumination at all and only the green light when the lights are switch on. What could be wrong here?
