Post V40 M66 transmission fluid fill plug

Hello! My first time posting on the forum.

I'm trying to change the transmission oil in my 2015 V40 D4 with an M66 manual transmission and I cannot find the fill plug.

I looked on Volvo VIDA and there is practically zero information on how to access the fill plug.

When I search online, I only find information about pre-2012 Volvo V40's.

Any ideas? Much appreciated!

Go in via front left wheel arch area.... look to the right of the driveshaft as it enters the transmission. There is a 24mm bolt. Fill till fluid comes back out... you will need some tubing and a bit of gravity.

Not sure on V40 but if it has same Ford chassis as S40/V50 you may find it useful to remove the bolt from the lower torque mount and you can slighly pry the gearbox forward to get better access to the fill bolt.

Below is for the V70 but you get the idea...

Thanks! I'll give it a try this weekend.
