Not a good experience
I always used to buy and sell cars in person - what a dinosaur 🦖 I guess! Basically the winning bidder went awol - is that usual? Anyway this 240 is back up for sale on the auction site and it will be a bargain for someone but not a giveaway. I’d take offers by pm if interested.

Always ask for a deposit. Even a fiver or a tenner via PayPal will discourage no-shows. If they won't pay a deposit, they wouldn't have showed up anyway.
