Volvo 850 tdi N reg repair or parts - OFFERS

850 Red Diesel Estate, N reg (1996),with a FVSH, and 220,000 miles on the clock, as just failed its MOT on the following:

1. Rear brake calipers/pads
2. Rear Nearside spring needs replacement
3. Rear Nearside spring top mount 'rusty and needs repair/replacement'
4. Front nearside ball joint needs replacing.

I've been quoted about >£600 for the job , and, simply stated, have decided not repair it...

It has 2 almost new front tyres, and I only replaced the glow plugs in January (first time ever!). Starts and runs like a dream.

MY local scrap yard will give me about £170 as scrap metal (ha!), but I am sure that there must be some keen 850 fan who is looking for either parts (the engine, gearbox are fine) or a repair, if you can weld.

I hate the idea of perfectly good Volvo parts going to waste!

I hoping for about £300 ono, so that I can afford to run the replacement V70!! But please haggle.

I am located in Petersfield, Hampshire...

I am not in the market for a full car but would be interested in the following if you decide to part it out. How is the turbo if available? A target price would also be good.
