V70 r
I quite fancy a V70 R.
I plan to hold on to my current car (an S-type R) but garage it through winter months. Since this possible purchase will be a second car I'm keen to make sure that it's not a money pit! Do you have any advice? There's a couple for sale on Auto Trader. One at £11k ('05 with 80k miles) looks tidy but that seems very steep! What should I look out for? Does the 4WD take high mileages well? Any advice appreciated. |

P1s had issues with the angle gear giving out.
P2s less so, and can be had cheap enough, 11k sounds a lot unless genuinely mint P3s there are only a few of them around, prob less than 100 in the UK |

I have a series 2 V70R AWD for sale
I have a Volvo V70R for sale, and was looking for about £5.5k (people tell me they are worth between £6k and £10k, but only if you find an enthusiast who has always wanted one).
I was just on here looking for a forum for selling cars, and saw your post. It has had timing belt changed and usual brakes, tyres and battery, but needs another service for the winter (not for the mileage, just the time since the last one), usually about £200, hence the lower cost. I love the car, but this has been my Sunday best car, and although it does not cost any more than other cars to run, the time has come to let this go, but it was fun to drive in full leather luxury. Sorry forgot to add the mileage is 107300, and it is a 2003, when I bought it at 92000, the dealer said they were good for 250,000, but he thought they would last a lot longer, I am not a specialist, but I understand they built these to last. Thanks for this Chris54321. Is there anywhere that I can see photos of the car?
I'm particularly keen to ensure I get something tidy, and that has been well maintained. Also, does your car have the integrated booster seats? Thanks in advance. |
