Could it be parking brake linings getting a little thin?

Or if your handbrake is on , in the picture, disc pad wear or fluid low.

It stays on when handbrake is released, so I suppose it could be the brake linings. Brake fluid is OK.

Left lamp; is the parking brake and the right side one is triggered by a imbalance between the brake circuits switched by the brake line block with the switch in the centre

With the age of the car if the brakes aren't binding I'd be going for the switch on the pedal being open circuit.

It's from the octopus valve on the left side of the car next to the front crossmember. As mentioned above it detects an imbalance between the two brake circuits, which would normally mean it has detected a leak.

Since you aren't losing fluid it's more likely the valve itself is sticking, or the plugs that go into the back of it have become loose or corroded.

I'd check the wiring and plugs first. The valve itself can also be cleaned and rebuilt if necessary.

I was hoping it could be rebuilt, not liking the price of new ones, and they don't seem to be reliable.
