Towbar fitting to a 1970 144
Hi
As per my wanted post - I'm wanting to fit a towbar. Going to be getting a small to medium trailer tent for the summer. I guess around the 500kg mark maybe a little heavier. Few questions How on earth does it fit to the chassis? Are there ready fitted captive nuts? Any welding involved? Assuming I can do it, will I just need a drill and a torque wretch? Don't like the idea of cutting into the electrics but is it fairly straight forward? Thanks all

Have sent you a personal mail as this machine can't put pics onto Forums, and we all know a picture saves a thousand words! Four pics so 4000 words saved - bonus!
Can do more if interested - PM me. Paul |
