br1anuk Member Last Online: Mar 12th, 2017 17:25 Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Liverpool	Creaking Gearstick??? Does anyone else who runs a manual car suffer from this malady? I'm getting a creaking from the gearstick as you change gear forwards and backwards from the stick. It sounds and feels like when you rub two pieces of polystyrene together and it's really starting to annoy me. Had it into the dealer today and they lubed it up, but twenty minutes later it was back exactly as before. They've told me they'll have to order a new linkage for it. I just think it's a bit poor as the cars only done 18,000 miles. Brian.
