Colsole fridge retrofit

So the XC90 Executive had an optional fridge. When I bought my car the seller said it had a fridge, but it turns out that it doesn't. You can tell from pictures of the rear interior - the fridge has a louvred back panel on the console armrest, while the non-fridge console has cupholder for the rear passengers instead.

Does anyone have the fridge? Is it worthwhile?
Is a retrofit possible? I'm sure it can't be too hard if you can find one at a breaker.

I've got a '61 reg Exec with no fridge and a non-removable centre console - might be something to do with the heated rear seats?
