Default 2003 XC90 no indicators on dash

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help with my XC90 D5 2003 I have recently purchased. Intermittently the indicators on the dash stop working, no flashing light or clicking sound but the bulbs in the light clusters work perfectly. Thanks.

Check the appropriate relay, otherwise it sounds a lot like the early stages of DIM failure.

I have had this fault, with also the seat belt warning lights flashing even though the belt is connected.
It will be a DIM failure but can be fixed for about £50+ at www.Volvodiagnostic.com very good service!

If its intermittant then its far more lilely to be the DIM unfortunatelty.

Look out for problems with the main beam indication on the dash, that is another classic fault.
