Volvo 740 2.3 GL 86 ( b230k) Carburettor 2B5
Hello,
do you have a valid link? Because I just bought a volvo 740 2.3 GL pierburg 2B5 carburettor and I have a lot of trouble finding documentation on it for my B230K engine And I have to check the hoses if they are in the right place. Thank you in advance and good day http://www.myvolvolibrary.info/Tech_...el_Systems.pdf |

Hi does this only happen first thing in the morning for 20-30 seconds and then clear's and is okay for rest of day until next morning when it does it again, if this is the case then I had the same issue 25 years ago with the red block and that was head gasket, what happens is that a small amount of coolant gets into the bore overnight and causes a misfire of that cylinder until it clears, the red block is a very strong unit and I would put that engine up against any German unit for robustness, I have worked on Volvo for 38 years, hope this help's.
