Default B4 Diesel XC60 oil rising (saga)

Just took my wife's XC60 to the dealership to address the oil rising issue again! This will be the 3rd time since February, so as you can imagine, it is somewhat frustrating. The service manager said that they will be replacing the turbos as a fault code is being thrown up by them. I'm just wondering if the turbo issue is causing the dpf problems or if the two are unrelated? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Needless to say I am very wary of keeping the car past it's warranty period.

If the turbo seals are passing oil this may be causing soot build up in the DPF and the need for a lot more regeneration to take place. With the result of Diesel slipping into the sump.

If you are experiencing a lot of stop start being unavailable (more than usual as other things effect this too) this could be due to the DPF doing more regeneration.

I will advice to download car scanner app and buy on amazon OBD2 elm327 to get your DPF utilization on mobile screen and be prepared when to go to burn it off

Not many seem to be compatible with vea Volvo's! I use Carly on my X5 but the Generic elm327 isn't happy with the xc60.

I have just got a generic elm327, the car scanner app picks up quite a few stats, revs temperature etc but other readings including the DPF normalised trigger are not updated. I hav tried all the available Volvo profiles.
I have a 2019 V60 D4. Do you think it is caused by poor elm clone? it was only £4. I'm willing to buy one more if I can find a good recommendation :-)

Update:

I tried again with the slightly more expensive Edasion OBD2 Bluetooth 4.0 Diagnostic Scanner Code Reader for iPhone iOS Android iPad PC at £12.99 from Amazon. This one reads all the sensors properly.
