Default On-call removal software

Hello!

My XC90 has on-call installed. I get an on-call deactivated warning every time I start the car, I've never registered the on-call with Volvo I don't intend to do so. Plus I've got the Legend audio system fitted so the car's own phone is redundant and missing a few parts from when I fitted the Legend.

I've read various post on this forum suggesting that the warning message will disappear after a few days/weeks or starts but so far it's still there and it's now over a year since I got the XC.

There is a software update available from Volvo 'on-call' uninstall' which I found in VIDA, however when I looked for the software online it says not compatible with the XC90.

Has anyone successfully uninstalled on-call?

you will probably find the insurance is linked to having on call working .. just get it registered in your name the safety side of it is free . only the security side is paid for . Hopefully you are aware of the safety advantages of ON-Call ...

Mine is the same.
Sorry, can't help with removing the message, but from an NCT
point of view, I've been through 2 tests since I bought it and it didn't raise any issues.

I didn't realise you could do that, I presume this is a job for a Volvo dealer not Volvo UK?

Apologies, my bad. Sorry for the confusion.
Didn't realise there is a town called Louth in Lincolnshire.
Thought Missing Lincs was based in the county of Louth on the east coast of Ireland, hence my reference to the NCT.
