Default Unknown sun visor colour screen

The Hoe has a replacement sun visor on the passenger side. It contains a 7" colour screen and a control panel in the front. The back appears to include a speaker. There is what appears to be a camera lens next to the rear number plate. I can't find any info about this, and Google doesn't seem to have any images. I suspect it is an aftermarket fitting, as the car came with a spare standard sun visor in a box of goodies.

There is no power going to the screen, and I can't find out how to turn it on.

They look like generic China-****e. Similar to, but not quite identical to these which sold for $11 a pair.

If you fancy trying to make them work you could try tracing the wiring back and see how it connects.

If it was installed as a proper reversing camera it should only work when reverse is selected. That would be easy enough logic to achieve by tapping into the reversing lamp circuit.

Thanks Forrest. Now I feel stupid, of course a reversing camera needs to work when the reverse gear is engaged. I think the on/off button confused me. I was thinking it could operate as a rear view mirror when driving normally. The wiring is in the hinge tube, so it will take some dismantling to trace it.
