2 of mine are dated 2005, and the spare is the 1989 original Michelin MXT that says 'Made in West Germany' on it!

The cracks add to the tread depth

They are getting changed _very_ soon.
My rather poor excuse is that I've been holding off on the chance a set of alloys that belonged to someone who actually knows where the kerb is came available.
There is a set of Dracos on E-bay right now but after much zooming in I think 2 of them have flat spots, and a set of Aries that my wife prefers the look of but perhaps they are too much money at £150 and wouldn't have originally been on an '89 car.
I'm also vacillating between that and keeping the car totally original with it's steelies and Volvo wheel trims but the trims are slightly kerbed (people might think I did it) and replacements are no longer available.

For brands I generally stick to Michelin, Goodyear, Pirelli or Continental.
Non-directional so I can do a 5-wheel rotation without having to have any reseated. That way you get 20% longer out of the full set, and don't end up in my current situation of a carrying a 34 year old spare.
