bodywork in London
Could anyone recommend someone in London who does bodywork and is used to Amazons. Some **** left a foot-sized dent in the top of my driver's door which needs attention. I want to try to return it to normal cheaply and cleanly.
Why do they always pick on the old folk (I mean the car, not me!)? Also, does anyone have red door-cards for a late two-door (california white) that have pockets. My 1970 came without pockets and you realise how useful they are when you don't have them. Thanks, Tom |

Volvo repairs
Hi Tom. I am a Volvo fan that does anything and everything with the classic Volvos. Never went public but I thought it's time. I am busy with my own ones at the moment. They are a P1800E, just completed, a 123GT that never saw the road for 29 YEARs, almost completed, and a PV544 that is being completed. You are welcome to view my work. I do the body and mechanicals myself. Lets put it this way, I have been doing Volvos for the past 30 years in South Africa and now here for the past 9 years. My number is 078 2887 9494 if you wish to chat. I do have a left side wine red door card if you require it. Keep in touch , Kishor Kassie

I can highly recommend Andrew at 'The Car Hospital' in Clapton. He did my P1800 and went above and beyond the call of duty. Stuck to his original estimate even allowing for all the extra work he had to do due to unknown (at the time) issues. None were his fault. He even fixed bits and peices that had nothing to do with the bodywork (like running a new horn cable down the steering column etc).
Phone number is 020 8985 2314 and located at E5 8NR if you want to see how close it is to you. Allister |
