Default Front headrests

How the hell do you remove the front headrests on a 55 plate V70 or can’t they be removed?

never tried it on mine but did briefly think about fittings screens in them for the kids, in the end I just put usb charging points so they can have tablets and headphones

If they are the same as a 55 plate XC70 then you will find two buttons in the seat back. They are located at the top left and right of the indentation (the depression where the rear seat passenger would have their knees). You have to press both buttons simultaneously with one hand, and lift the headrest with the other hand, asking a second person to help may be easier as mine required some force to lift it. The best technique I found is to slide your lifting hand between the seat top and headrest and lever it up. Hope that makes some sense.
