Default km/metres for Nav but mpg for fuel - Can it be done?

Hi all,

Quick question, can you have kilometres/metres for Navigation and mpg for fuel as you preferred units, or must it be either imperial or metric for both?

In the settings it was set to British (mpg) or something like that, so I'm assume what get set here is applied across the board, just want to know if that's true.

I've not had a chance to nip out and try nav on the road to see if it's taken affect, but obviously this also means my fuel is (I'm assuming) now in klm/L).

Cheers

Mitch

Commonly amongst most satnav’s that I have used or owned, you chose metric or imperial, I cannot recall being given a choice to mix both.

Hi Deck1ng,

Yeah agree with you there, I suppose the difference here is we're adding fuel calculations in compared to pure sat-nat.

I wonder if this is the same on the next-gen models or even the Google based Android setup. Then again being Google I suppose you can change it to whatever you want either through the car or personal settings via your Google account.

Guess I'll just have to get used to working in klm/L then! Not too bad a thing I suppose as I'll never forget MPG and I always prefer distance in km/metres.
