Default Volvo V50 suspension and brakes

Hi chaps, I'm looking for a V50 but wondered if anybody knows whether the suspension set up is the same across the range ? I read that the DRIVe models are lowered a little to help with aerodynamics, but what about something like a D4 or D5 R design...are they standard set up, the same as some thing like an SE Lux ?
Same thing with the brakes, are they the same across the V50 range ?

I’ve had a V50 2.0d and now own a V50 D4 R design

Springs and shocks vary by model/trim (there’s a sticker on the rear door aperture containing a build code, from this you can decode front springs/shocks + rear springs/shocks)

My D4 has larger front brakes than my 2.0d had, I believe they are the same as fitted to the T5’s

There are more spring rate combinations for these cars than I've had hot dinners. It varies by weight of the car, engine choice, trim level, chassis choice etc. As far as brakes go, they can vary a bit as well. Rear brakes are all the same at 280mm discs but fronts range from 278mm on the smaller engined cars to 300 on mid-range engines and 320mm on T5/D5 cars. There can be slight variations. My very early S40 T5 had 300mm brakes that I upgraded to 320mm as all the later cars had them.

The DRIVe models are indeed lowered as our V50 was. I've since fitted aftermarket (Sachs) springs to return it to standard ride height as speed bumps and certain highland roads proved problematic. I went standard at the front and heavy duty at the rear.
