Diesel fill up pipe movement
I have a xc70 d5 2007. It had a rattle at the back end, my mechanic can't find it. I've been underneath and I have found movement in the diesel fill pipe that connects to the fill cap. Should it do this? I don't know if it should have some play for vibration or whether it should be completely static. Does anyone know how it should be? I've attached a video thanks.

Looks like the circular plastic bracket isn't circular and holding the pipe securely because there's a section missing.
I'd check the Vida parts catalogue for a diagram of the components in the area.

I thought that but when I looked more closely it looks just like a half ring support. I can't feel around it very well so I'm not certain whether it should be a half ring or a full clip.

You could criss-cross a couple of cable ties around the pipe and what's left of the bracket.
It's not going to need much securing.
