  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

I haven't said that technology isn't involved. The alternator feed is ECM controlled depending on a variety of inputs unlike on mine.

There's nothing to suggest the correct behaviour has anything to do with the technology you cited in the Volvo press release though which was for a different engine on a different platform of models.
