Default D5 Aux belt info,

Hi, Recently bought a late 2016 xc60 D5 with 46,000 miles on the clock and full Volvo service history, On here i keep reading about Aux belt failure ( presume this is what us old folk used to call a fan belt)
People have mentioned faulty tensioners and modified ones on earlier years, on my model would the tensioner have been modified by then or not, if not when due 35,000 or 54,000 miles are figures i ve seen mentioned,
Is there a simple way to check if this has already been done,

Thanks for your help

Mine is a 2012 xc60 D5, I can’t see them being too different. My belts are recommended for change: Aux belt, pulleys and tensioners every 54000, so 54k then 108k and so on. The cam belt at 108 k ( to make it easy a 2-1 ratio). In my service book, I had a sticker to indicate this was done with a mileage and date.

If it's a main dealer maintained car, you can ask any main dealer.
