Smith & Allan are a well known & respected company & their JSW3309 is
top quality. You can use it in your car with complete peace of mind.

Volvo changed fluid specs on some TF80SC boxes around 2011 so if your car is around that age, double check compatibility with a Volvo main dealer or Vida.

IIRC 3309's still reverse compatible though, isn't it (with 3324, IIRC, whose role in the same 'box was simply to eke a little more economy out)

Smith and Allan:~
Recommended, I use them for two Volvo cars 240/V70 (Auto) good products & service.
Also use some of their products on a Riley RME again with no problems and descent prices.
Regards Bob.

Another very similar company - https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/westwaylu...p2047675.l2563

Are you asking or are you confirming to the OP that they are good to go?
I don't know and it doesn't sound like you do either hence my advice for the OP to check for themselves.

To be clear, yes I have checked and 3309 is reverse compatible with 3324-specced engines.

I was rather teeing you up for your confirmation as you tend to know most stuff, technically

Smith & Allan make good quality stuff but i definitely would NOT recommend a full flushing change at 130k miles!

Much better to do a series of 3-4 "part-changes" a month apart. On the last one you should find the ATF has stayed clean during the time it's been in there. If your gearbox has an ECU, reset it after the last part-change then do one annual part-change to keep it fresh.

There are many good reasons for this, sadly my paws are playing up today so can't type them all out but it's but much safer for the box to do a few part-changes than one flushing one - more economical on fluid too!

hi the handbook states jsw3309 and smith and Allan stated jsw3309 when quoted the vehicle and reg no. Unfortunately there isn't a Volvo dealer in fife to ask and I am unable to get anyone with vida local to check.
when I called the nearest Volvo dealer over 35 miles away there reply almost left me speechless
( It takes the red stuff son ) what can I say
I am planning on doing 2 or maybe 3 drain and fills I would be wary about doing the full flush with the millage then do what ever I have left 4-6 weeks later as buying 20 litres
