Any 850 or V70 owners should definitely pick up the subframe, those delrin bushes are a great upgrade with minimal NVH for these cars.

Hi CookeH

(Flaggy, sorry to hijack the thread).

I can get a subframe from a 2001 C70 2.4T convertible auto.
If I want to fit it into a late 1998 V70 2.5 NA auto, what will I have to modify?
Does the RHS mount depend on the engine or on the subframe?

If it would transfer across, I could keep the steering rack on the C70 subframe because I know it was recently rebuilt.

I'll do some googling to see what is involved in dropping the subframe - I've never done that before.

Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve, as you say there is one difference in the mounts that changes between the years. How to deal with it, or whether or not it is an issue is dependent on which year C70 its coming off and onto which year 850/S70/V70 it's going onto. Generally ME7 to ME7 has no issues, and pre-ME7 to pre-ME7 also has no issues. Things get a smidge more complex if interchanging but the VPCUK thread covers it.

Incidentally that does a far better job of illustrating it than I could ever manage descriptively - excellent find.
