I know ya got sorted with the bearing now, but a question to all,
Do we no longer test the bearing by lifting the corner up wiggling the wheel, anymore?

That would show play in a bearing, but a bearing can be noisy & have no play when you wiggle the wheel.

Booked back in for Friday to have the codes read on the car... I'm hoping the garage are reasonable but I'm fully expecting to get shafted on labour and parts to get this sorted.

Car all sorted, bearing/hub just hadn't been pressed fully in (we're talking by millimetres).

Few hours labour (FOC) and the car was all sorted.

Great response by the garage and I'm a happy chappy... apart from my Clio 200 breaking a spring on the return journey from the garage ^^.

Finally when you turn left and the noise become more intense, it is right or left bearing? Thanks…
