Volvo Sat Nav Cleaning Disc for sale

Sat Nav cleaning disc for sale. My nav was displaying the message 'Disc cannot be read' Bought the cleaner, inserted for 6 seconds and hey presto all problems solved. Nav worked fine ever since.

It has been used only once. Disc can be used about 50 times. It is a DVD with tiny brushes attached. These clean the lens of the unit so it can read properly. Definitely the first place to try if you are having any reading issues with discs.


Part number is 30732914. Suitable for Volvo Navigation System in S80, S60, V70 and XC70, model year 2002-2005. Please check compatibility before buying.

Too low. Watched one on ebay go for £24. Thought that was a bit high to be honest.

Hmm... To have a working Sat Nav for a change!!

My sat nav worked intermittently when I bought the car. Forever having to switch on and off to try to get it working. 1 blast of the disc and it worked 100% fine since, even to the point where I was being told off by the Mrs for turning it on when I knew where I was!! Just wanted to make sure it still worked!!

I've had the car for nearly a year, it's never worked.

I've tried generic cleaning discs but they don't/didn't work.

It could be my map disc that's duff, they're years out of date anyway, but I want to see if I can get the unit working before I buy a new set of discs.

I asked at my local-ish dealer, Rybrook in Warrington and they'd never heard of a special cleaning disc, instead just tried selling me a whole new nav unit @ £600 + VAT and fitting...

I Promptly told him to F*£$ OFF!!!!

So what do you say to £15 then?

Says on the disc it's CD though, strange, as the '02- navs are DVD based?!

I am part exing the car tomorrow. £15 for the disc is fine. Problem for you is it may not work. If you could pop over tomorrow we could try my discs in your DVD and vice versa. Mine works fine so if your discs dont work in mine then you have the answer.

Could even look at swapping DVD units as an extreme.

Would be great to try my dics in your unit, but I have to work and it would be weekend before I could get over to Liverpool

Oh well, if you're PXing tomorrow it'll be too late.

If all else fails, I can always sell the disc on.
