Default Stereo going thump! Video included 😃

Long shot, but there's a thumping noise coming from stereo and the sound is super quiet.

It started at the front speaker.

Then went away for a few weeks.

Then returned to the rear speaker and is here to stay now..

Any ideas?! (And what's the option my car doesn't have - in twelve years I've never figured out what the blanked out buttons is!)

Cheers 🙂

Is the sound from the radio ok from the tweeters in the dash? It sounds like the amp may have failed. What model head unit do you have? If you have an S40 the amp is behind the boot trim near to the fuel filler.

The blank is where the power folding mirror switch goes....if you live in Japan. Sadly only japan had the option of powerfold mirrors. They can be retro-fitted, but its not cheap by a long way and you might need to get some 2nd hand mirrors from Japan.

Thanks - and sorry for delay! There's no real sound coming from anything but I'll hunt out the amp thank you - funnily enough it did get a bit wet there....

It's an Hu-655

And great insight on the blanked button!
